I’ve heard Maurice LaMarche do impersonations of Mike Reiss on DVD commentaries for The Critic or Futurama.

I think he altered it a bit…If I remember right Paris Hilton was the one that sent the cookies after they made fun of her at ISU…I question how much of it is completely made up.

Every speech I’ve seen of Mike Reiss seems like he’s MC’ing a roast at some Friar’s Club.. sure is mean-spirited stuff.. guess he’s got a chip on his shoulder

I agreed. The Simpsons was at its best when those two ran the show.

He’s not how I pictured him from his voice. Oh well. He’s still great.

I always enjoy Mike on the DVD commentaries; great showrunner imo, and adds a bit of color to the commentary tracks.

He still works on the show but only part time. His work on the show is bairly shown to not at all. Simpsons fans like me want you back as Showrunner beside Al Jean again. Please Mike.

He’s probably the only old school Simpsons writer who openly admits that not every episode was anything short of perfect.
