BUT!!! Where is the typical water fluidity in Katara’s movements? And the lethal fire power in Zuko’s????I LOVED how they moved in the cartoon series, they seemed so real, and I though to myself “wow, if water was a guy fighting, it would be like this” I think those actors should have been more prepared to move like them.

    Damn Katara is Hot.

  4. TheBlindBandit47 July 26, 2010 1:01 am

retarded firebenders don’t move like that!!!!!!!!!

  5. movies798 July 26, 2010 1:46 am

Okay I saw the movie and I think they move a little fast because they miss some episodes from the tv show. I love the tv show and so far I kinda like the movie. But that’s my opinion.

  7. huntco3 July 26, 2010 2:56 am

this was my fav part of the movie

  8. iMarklar July 26, 2010 3:17 am

@mayhem9024 Ok I get your point.
I don’t really need explosions, I just want a close and fast fight like it was in the original.
Water is everywhere too, have you saw season 3? They can acquire it from plants or plain air (water vapour is all around us). And taking a flask of water ith you (like Katara does) is a bit easier than having a torch with you all the time to have fire to bend.
Firebenders should be able to make fire. That’s my opinion, yours is different, that’s ok ;)

  9. mayhem9024 July 26, 2010 3:33 am

@iMarklar Ok so the fight’s slow i explained why and pointed out it’s suppose to be if your one of those people who needs explosions oh well go see something else. Also firebending was jut fine before? ok whatever i never said it wasn’t but hy.Ok air is everywhere earth is to water isn’t everywhere mabey in sweat but ou’ll have a hard time finding water in a room or cell.Fire isn’t all around us but it work’s in the film besides heat is all around is but you have o be stronge to bend it.

  10. iMarklar July 26, 2010 4:19 am

@mayhem9024 “he’s being smart and conservativ of course he’s going to move slow” even you admit that it’s slow! what else are we talking about?!
I don’t care WHY the fight is slow, it IS.
Firebending was just fine when they could make fire themselves. (Watch Avatar’s first episode where Iroh teaches Zuko. It makes sense.)
Btw, air is everywhere around, so is earth and water too (you can see that in 3rd season especially). What about fire, is it all around us?
    Sorry for arguing, nothing personal.

  11. mayhem9024 July 26, 2010 4:34 am

@iMarklar yes it does it makes since he’s being smart and conservativ of course he’s going to move slow. Also that actually makes more sense it gave the benders more of an advantage and to be honest it makes it cooler when other characters(iroh)do bending without fire.

  12. iMarklar July 26, 2010 4:56 am

@mayhem9024 Yes I saw the reason too, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s slow :)
I dont really like this new “firebenders can’t make fire” concept.

dude tht looked like obi one vs darth vader

  14. Rezic July 26, 2010 6:13 am

I’m pretty pumped to see Koh (the face stealer), as well as Hei bai….too bad they had to take out the Mononoke style Water monster Aang creates though.

  15. mayhem9024 July 26, 2010 6:18 am

@iMarklar he can’t get closer he’s at a disadvantage to far from fire she can get it to close he can’t cause damage she has water around her he has a flame she could attack at anytime.

  16. mayhem9024 July 26, 2010 7:08 am

@Comodovaran it’s slow for some scenes they’ve come out and said that fast forwarding and slow motion are being used.

  17. huntco3 July 26, 2010 7:58 am

    that grunting is annoying haha

  18. iMarklar July 26, 2010 8:50 am

@Comodovaran Yea, bending fights ARE fast… in the original show. This scene was very fast and looking awesome in the cartoon.
But here… Zuko doesn’t even try to go closer and FIGHT. It’s like a snowball fight behind 1-1 tree.

  19. Comodovaran July 26, 2010 9:45 am

Hm… It’s pretty slow… I thought bending fights were awesomely fast, but here it’s like: “You’re move… Done? Okay, my turn then…”

  20. Lunara13 July 26, 2010 10:37 am

-_- they took one of the best scenes in ATLA history and ruined it

  21. shawnhisdead July 26, 2010 10:47 am

I am ruining this movie for me >D

  22. MaiaX3 July 26, 2010 11:24 am

I think the fighting is alright but what’s up with the “rah rah” sounds?? Sounds a bit OTT and the music isn’t matching the scene.. but let’s hope it’s not like that in the actual movie… *optimism*

  23. makeupbygloria July 26, 2010 12:04 pm

@iMarklar hahhahaha omg thats what i was thinking lol looks like ball room dance.

  24. Dagon0088 July 26, 2010 12:11 pm

@iMarklar Yeah your right, I hope its the beginning of a rough and tough intense battle between katara and zuko too,

  25. seriousbookshelf July 26, 2010 12:32 pm

…that music does not fit into the scene.. sounds like something from star wars
