@SuperDuckyWho blame the writer. the movie was good. writing was bad. if someone else wrote it, this movie would prolly get 4 stars. which is good. and the acting isnt bad, its just the lines their saying.

@blackjack1416 haha, yeah, i loved it. but it didnt have the same art that was in the cartoon. but the movie overall was great. but i think the writing was alittle bad. the movie wasnt bad though. it was really entertaining to me, but everyone who have never seen the cartoon were prolly lost. ha. i give it 8.4.

@PMNO1 Liked it, I’d never said that…. I LOVED IT!… DAMN… it was so great, earthbending scene was to shot and weird but over all i give it a 8.5 to 9.5… all tous boicot things and HATE SHYAMALAN movements are just a collective idea, no one really thinks that about the movie, they just wanna participate on the riot… I can’t wait untill the Book two LIVE ACTION movie comes out :D

The fight scenes are soooo bad and the acting is sooooo bad. And Sokka ISN’T FUNNY! Might as well watch Twilight.

@PMNO1 Yeah!, and don’t forget that the movie was almost true to the series, I liked how aang was kidnapped and how the blue spirit rescued him, almost all the escense of the series were on the movie, it’s like another story based on the show.

    Grettings :)

@megoo14 who cares if their white or not, they did their job. the movie was fine. i was a big fan of the cartoon, and i know that the movie had flaws, but it was a good family movie. and its zuko. who looked nothing like the cartoon. but he did do well acting, along with the others. i dont see the big deal.

  11. megoo14 July 16, 2010 6:18 pm

    @PMNO1 i think they were bad…
    btw i LOVE da cartoon!
    watched it over 5 times
    lol
movie was awful….not what i expected, and i really dont like the fact that they aint asian, or native actors…why do whites have to get all the credit???

except for suko, he was kool…
    its weird, huh?
the director is indu yet he decides to audition white people….
    danm it….

  12. PMNO1 July 16, 2010 6:19 pm

@megoo14 yes, i have watched the movie. and it was fine. it had few flaws, but have you even watched the cartoon? there was over 20 episodes. and they had to pack it all into 2 hours. the actors..aang, did a great job as his very first movie. katara, she did fine too. sokka, he could have done better. everyone else did what they were supposed to do, they were good.

  13. megoo14 July 16, 2010 6:48 pm

@PMNO1 he looks british to me….plus havent u read the reviews?
hace u even watched the movies?
    they r awful actors! gee….

  14. PMNO1 July 16, 2010 7:46 pm

@megoo14 zuko’s not white. and i the characters are fine. they are already picked out so they cant switch them. plus, they went by talent.

  15. Kaleb1400 July 16, 2010 8:19 pm

The movie was good but they left out characters like the kyoshi warriors and avatar roku. plus the firebenders were supposed to make fire right on the spot instead of needing a source to bend from.

  16. megoo14 July 16, 2010 8:46 pm

goddamit…. i really hate the fact that katara and suko are white!!!
damn can’t they be native american?
there i so many mexican hotties out there….gee

  17. live4jesus51 July 16, 2010 9:28 pm

Okay people shut the crap up about how bad it was we still have the show to watch it’s already like a movie!!!!!!!!!! X(

  18. BenLeeRocks July 16, 2010 9:58 pm

This clip seems to back up what most of the reviews are saying; the visual effects are good, but, with the exception of Dev Patel, the performances are awful. Jackson Rathbone, in particular, looks awful, especially when considering his strong performance as Jasper in “Eclipse”.

my favorite cartoon…shatter in front of my very Eyes…please tell me this movies as bad as it seems…even if it is…i will still watch it… :(

  20. PMNO1 July 16, 2010 11:07 pm

this movie was pretty good, although they did leave out alot about the main characters, like episodes 4-18, if anyone watches the cartoon. but, i liked it. this scene is pretty cool.

    @FlyingBucketsClan DUDE, I KNOW RIGHT!

  23. FlyingBucketsClan July 17, 2010 12:55 am

Watched the movie. They cut out over 3/4 episodes in the season for the movie. The movie barely went along with the actual story, and at the end Aang didn’t even turn into the giant monster. He made a big wave but didn’t let it crash, and then shrunk it back down. The Fire Nation ships stopped attacking because they got scared of a kid that looks like bald Justin Beiber and ran away. Momo had literally 1 minute the whole movie.

We’ll always have 61 chapters of animation well done.

inb4 syamalan makes a bad movie news at 11.

@trustfund82 even the best clip out of context will not live up to the expectations of someone who already has an opinion of the subject :/
