Guys! plz help me, ive seen a piece of simpson series in a commercial some time ago, and mr. burns was saying: ‘ Smithurs, you have to believe!’ i use that line all the time, but i never seen original, wheres it from?

Its from one of the very early series, you can by the animation rather than CGI which was used from the third series I think.
A lot of the characters have changed both in appearance and voice over the years. Burns is far more seedy and despicable now than he was back then.

Mr. Burns is actually the head of the Springfield Republican Party. He always chairs the meetings at the GOP castle in later seasons. So, it is likely that Mary Bailey is either a Democrat or an Independent. Mayor Quimby is also Democrat though. And he’s usually portrayed in a negative light too, so the show is pretty even handed.
